AYSO Kids Zone

At AYSO, we want all players, coaches, families and volunteers to have fun. That's where AYSO Kids Zone comes in. Kids Zone is a special program that encourages fans on the sidelines, and anyone else nearby, to use positive language, show good sportsmanship in their attitude and behavior, and to create a great experience for every player. Kids Zone is a reminder that the AYSO soccer fields are a safe, friendly, happy, place for children to play. 

The Kids Zone Pledge

Alert! By entering an AYSO soccer Field, you are entering the Kids Zone and agree to the following: 

1.  Kids are #1
2.  Fun -- not winning -- is everything
3.  Fans only cheer, and only coaches coach
4.  No yelling in anger
5.  Respect the volunteer referees
6.  No swearing or abusive behavior
7.  No alcohol, tobacco or drugs
8.  No weapons
9.  Leave no trash behind
10.  Set a proper example of sportsmanship

Parent/Spectator Guidelines

These guidelines are PER GAME

1st Occurrence - Verbal Warning
2nd Occurrence - Recorded Caution
3rd Occurrence - Ejection & 1 Game Suspension

  -- Two (2) ejections in a season will result in suspension
-- Refusal to leave after an ejection will result in a suspension
-- Coaches are responsible for their parents. If they are unable to control a parent, the game will be stopped until
the offender leaves
-- Profanity will result in ejection and removal from all playing fields. People using profanity will be asked to leave the
complex. The game will not continue until they leave. City of Madison Police Department will enforce all Recreation
Department bans and enforce as trespassing
-- Physical contact with the referee, league official, coach or any other persons will result in suspension and may be
subject to further discipline
-- Referees and/or league officials and City of Madison Recreation Department employees may enforce all these rules

MOST IMPORTANT - CONFRONTATIONS OF ANY KIND WITH YOUTH REFEREES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
